Joo on ollut mielenpäällä kovaan siirtyminen, mut siinä on vähä sellainen että toimitusajat niin pitkiä ettei tähän hätää sellaista kannata alkaa kattoo. Jää loppuvuoden ajot ajamatta. Ihan uusi kaksoismassa on tilattu ja toivotaan että kestää pidempään ku toi käytetty

Joo on sitä mietitty, mut se on taas toisaalta suhteellisen pitkä ja ei välttämättä ole voimaa tarpeeksi lähteä sillä. Jossain välissä varmaan jos tulee lisää voimaa asiaa joutuu pohtii tosissaan tai siirtyy automaattiin kokonaan

Pretty normal setup. Two hybrid k03s, s362sxe, stock modified intake, custom log style exhaust manifolds and 3.5" exhaust.

@@bigdiffas It's quite confusing. Do you have 2 k03s + s362sxe = 3 turbos?

I have not dyned this tune. But it should be less power what was on dyno...maybe around 430

@@bigdiffas ahhh fair enough do you think youll get to over 500 horses on the engine?

@@thevilcanator6448 It should be when adding more fuel to it. It probably had something like 480hp on it on the dyno because powercurve was rising before limp mode on the dyno

@@allan_7752 you mean is the smoke bad for the engine? It is and causes extra heat. Leaner you can drive the better it gets

@@allan_7752 i think it is rather good engine. But its good that they are unwanted - you get spare engines cheap 😅

yeah so? Here it is 800 is normally. But this is now registered as van so only 400 and if not driving i remove it from register so wont have to pay from those days it is off the road.

@@duangc3280 well it is possible to drive so not that bad. Its getting harder for older cars everywhre. Do you have to pay even if you dont drive it?

​@@bigdiffas if u park ur car outside u have to pay roadtax even if u dont drive. Only way to not pay roadtax if in garage. And there are cities with parts where this car is probably banned because its older diesel. My Polo 9n3 gt tdi is already banned in some places, its luckily in private garage before i get engine fixed. 1 garage asked me 150 euro per hour for work on 2006 polo. Thats how ridicoulous it is over here.

@@bigdiffas But still. I mean you have to shift into 5th, but 8.5s is quick. Fastest 2.5 TDi in at least Europe I think :D What are the next things you're working on. Making it ready for 1/4 mile runs? Would love to see alot of them and see how the car performs if you really smack it.

@@heavyweight6440 main goal was to 7s at 1/8 and 11s at 1/4...an go under 10s 100-200. Both done in first hits so now i have go deeper 11s and 7s. 😅

Does that work with Diesels at all? With petrol cars you cut the ignition, but how to do that with a Diesel? Reduce injection quantity to keep RPM constant when pressing clutch?

@@heavyweight6440 on stock ecu its probably not possible. There is brake switch input on ecu to cut fueling but that is too slow to react I heard from tuner. I did try run just holding pedal on floor and it work as it on higher gears

@@bigdiffas I mean the 2.5 TDi has a clutch switch (same as brake switch i guess) when the car has/had cruise control. But I also think, that the ECU cannot process that. I know nothing about programming ECUs, but if the car had cruise control it has to be able to change fueling quantites by itself, if it (for example) drives up or down a hill. It might be possible to adapt this behaviour to the cruise control section of the ECU, but its probably easier to use something like EMUblack or maxxECU...

I think if you drive it like you would drive a stock 2.5 TDi, you would be under 10L/100km by far. Probably like 9.xL/100km. Maybe even 8.x if you really go slow.

@@heavyweight6440 yeah well the tune was decent some parameters were not good so it went limp. I think without limp mode maybe some 10-15hp was there. But just is just estimated based on how much torque car gained on every rpm

@@bigdiffas Okay, sounds good so far. I would expect around 900Nm+ of torque for almost 470hp. Did you measure the car on purpose from 2900 rpm, so the torque wouldnt shred parts of the drivetrain? At least the BMW M57 will do around 2.0-2.2 times the amount of power it has in torque (Nm). That is why I am curious.

@@heavyweight6440 Since I rev car higher I dont have that much torque anyway related to power. I was surprised it had that much. I'd rather like 700nm from 3000 to 5500rpm than maximum peak . On first run we did start from 2000 so it pushed 768nm since it spooled earler...ran thru the torquelimiter map. It went limp, so decided to try from hihger revs. It still went limp but on higher rev and delivered more power

Hard to tell but atleast most power in finland. 👌

@@bigdiffas the A4 quattro with airbags will do... So I can lower it and leave it low with nice road wheels and tires and then put the offroad meaty wheels and tires on it and lift it for the dirt

@@feltav5719just buy a manual 2.7t all road and convert it to 12/24v turbo. Best cost effective option

Basic mods.big turbo upgrade, big nozzles, better heads, fmic, exhaust etc

They deliver pretty good. It is pretty lean on max power...lambda 1.5+. But on idle it smokes more because of decrease on pump pressure...so the atomisation is not that perfect amd low compression does not help 😅

Hard to believe its 220 by just remap. But basically bigger nozzles, bigger turbo and upgrade intercooler gives nice upgrade

@@bigdiffas You're probs right mate , the remap guy talking wet , was done 5 years ago it's a quantum remap . They say 210 , 220 or 230 packages so i went for middle . It's quite obviously quicker than it was but who knows without a test. How much would all that set me back plus labour you reckon ? Cheers

@@tabularasa7775 Well nozzles are about 300-400euros if using bosch ones. Turbowise it is easy to just modify stock one up to 300hp...that is probably around 800-1000euros. 3.0tdi turbo from CAPA for example is good unit but you need make collector and downpipe etc. Also it is electronic controlled so you need to modify it too. If you have AKE or other A-series engines i would not recommend build those.

@@bigdiffas From what i can see in service book it's a BDH ... I seen some "plug and play" turbos for around £1000 for upto 300hp . Would it be better to do injectors and turbo together followed by a map ? Or could i get some decent gains with just injectors and a map for now ? Thanks for your time and replies , appreciate it . Harmittaa ku ei saatu kunnon vetoa, et ois koko kierrosalueelta saatu. Kuitenkin 650nm 2800 jo tarjolla ja pitäs vetää sinne 5800 asti.
